The Advisory Committee

This is a suggested option for church leadership development and decision-making in the church. The original intent for establishing an Advisory Committee was to provide a mechanism for new churches that did not have Elder/Deacon Boards or churches that did not have sufficient qualified men to serve as leaders. This model allows for the development of elders/deacons and at the same time train men for leadership. However, the principles of this model can be adapted to existing Elder/Deacon Boards.
